Filters water and reduces bacteria. Replaceable charcoal filter removes contaminants. On/off switch with low voltage system for pet safety. Flow control lever. Convenient handle. UL approved submersible pump. Assembly Instructions Remove cardboard. Remove filter reservoir. Remove water reservoir. Remove pump unit from box and remove rubber band. Do not move flow lever. Press unit firmly in area marked pump. Suction cups must grip the bottom of base. Flow lever should extend into bowl area. Turn flow lever all the way to the flow position (left toward the water ramp). Open grommet and close around power cord. Insert grommet into base. Replace filter reservoir unit. Fill bowl with water to 1/2" below rim. Remove filter from bag. Rinse filter in water to remove excess charcoal dust. Insert filter in corner slots in filter reservoir. Slide it down to bottom.
